At Summit Integrative Medicine, we provide a comprehensive evaluation & individualized treatment protocol for hair restoration for hair loss & hair thinning. Our protocols include treatments, including PRP Hair Restoration Injections & Microneedling, screening labs to identify hormone or nutrient-related imbalances that need to be addressed, and medications, hair tinctures, or botanical support to help in treating the underlying cause and enhance growth. Other recommendations may be discussed as well, for example, laser cap therapy.

PRP HAIR RESTORATION & MICRONEEDLING

How does it work: The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is concentrated with growth factors, signaling molecules and proteins. The PRP promotes new hair growth by stimulating hair follicles and enhancing circulation and nutrients to the areas of hair loss we are targeting. PRP is rich in regenerative proteins and signaling molecules.

Results: Usually, we start to see new growth about 3 months after your initial PRP hair restoration treatment. Optimal results are seen after 9 months – 1 year of treatment.

Frequency of Treatment: We typically recommend having the procedure done once every 2-3 months for 9 months – 1 year.
